The 10 best Michelin-starred restaurants in Paris

Guy Savoy Restaurant

Paris Mint, 11 Quai de Conti, 75006 Paris// +33143804061

Even though Guy Savoy's eponymous Parisian restaurant will likely see your bill surpass $330 per person after opening just one bottle of wine, believe me when I say it's worth every penny.

The restaurant has had two Michelin stars since 1985, and its third star came in 2002. Many consider it to be the best food they've ever eaten, and I'm sure you will too, after sampling its magnificent specialties.

The Guy Savoy restaurant has not only received two stars, but also many other awards, such as the Best Restaurant in the World by La Liste, as well as the 5-star award by Forbes Travel Guide.

But there is no doubt that all these prestigious epithets are well deserved.

This place is fantastic and offers so much more than you can expect! Dining at the restaurant is a fantastic experience, thanks to the chef's creations, service, presentation and wine pairing. A restaurant like this is more than just a place to eat. It is also an experience for all the senses!

The 10 Best Michelin Star Restaurants in Paris, France (1)

As soon as you take your seat, a basket of champagne is brought your way, with a selection that will blow you away. Afterwards, you can choose à la carte or try the tasting menu with wine pairing!

If you're not sure, chef Guy Savoy's signature dishes, the artichoke and black truffle soup or the grilled foie gras, are a must-try for starters.

you will love theLobster, Carrot Trilogy or Tortellini with Natural Coral Juiceas the main entrance. But be sure to try the Loin of Lamb with Black Pepper Gnocchi.

Guy Savoy has a simple but elegant decor, discreet, sober and relaxed atmosphere, impeccable service and first class food.

This impeccable restaurant is worth a visit!

winning stone

6 rue Balzac, 75008 Paris// +33158361250

Since 1996, Pierre Gagnaire has consistently maintained three stars for his restaurant. However, perhaps his greatest career honor came in 2015 when other top chefs voted him the best chef in the world! So if you want a dining experience like no other, your taste buds will thank you after trying Pierre Gagnaire's dishes!

Seated at the table, you will be greeted with a series of small dishes, each one more delicious than the last. Michelin calls his dishes "poetic and constantly reinventing".

The 10 Best Michelin Star Restaurants in Paris, France (2)

As the dishes change with the seasons, even the most frequent customers are sure to be amazed!

This three-Michelin-starred restaurant offers delicious food, meticulous attention to detail and top-notch service from the moment you enter until the moment you eat your dessert.

As this place changes with the seasons and there is always a new invention coming out of the kitchen, I recommend trusting the chef and sticking with the daily special.

And you can't go wrong with trying the exceptional sparkling rosé Laurent Perrier with your meal!

34 Rue Saint-Dominique, 75007 Paris// +33145552756

This Michelin-recommended restaurant stands out from the rest thanks to an extensive wine list and high-quality ingredients.

This restaurant is the brainchild of chef Guillaume Iskandar and sommelier Guillaume Muller, who trained at Arpège with Alain Passard.

Using local ingredients, the restaurant next to Les Invalides serves dishes that prioritize ingredients! The products and meat, for example, come from the family farm in Limousin, which gives a strong light to all their authentically prepared dishes.

The 10 Best Michelin Star Restaurants in Paris, France (4)

The bold flavor combinations are to die for! All ingredients, herbs, flavors and spices brought each dish to its highest culinary perfection.

Their menu changes monthly, so I recommend you try their delicious tasting menu and try almost everything at once.

You must visit this restaurant to experience something genuinely creative, locally sourced and advocated with amazing flavors! You'll see why it deserves Michelin stars.

9 Place des Vosges, 75004 Paris// +33142785145

Since L'Ambroisie has held its three Michelin stars since 1988, it seems to attain a similar grandeur to food eaten by the gods on Mount Olympus, hence the name of the restaurant!

L'Ambroisie offers a unique classicism and a timeless feast for the senses in a semi-detached house in the majestic setting of the Place des Vosges. Bernard Pacaud's cuisine expresses an explosion of flavors with its scientific approach and impeccable execution!

This is a fabulous restaurant with a unique atmosphere and excellent service serving delicious food, with each dish masterfully prepared!

Serving only à la carte, working only with luxury ingredients like caviar or lobster, and implementing impeccable classic techniques make this restaurant worthy of its title. In today's world of tasting menus, culinary tricks and new Nordic and Japanese influences, L'Ambroisie stands alone.

The 10 Best Michelin Star Restaurants in Paris, France (5)

They offer an ever-changing seasonal menu, but if you come across the tourte with duck and foie gras, definitely give this amazing dish a try.

I certainly agree with those who claim that you must visit here at least once if you are interested in fine dining and experience it for yourself.

Jules Verne

2nd floor of the Eiffel Tower-Champ de Mars, 5 Av. Anatole France// +33(0)1 83 77 34 34

You should try eating at the Eiffel Tower in Paris because it's anything but cliché! Le Jules Verne is the ultimate dining experience if you can get a reservation, which is a challenge.

Chef Frédéric Anton, who also owns Le Pre Catelan, a restaurant with three Michelin stars, is responsible for Le Jules Verne, one star.

The 10 Best Michelin Star Restaurants in Paris, France (6)

Personally, I don't think there is a better dining experience in Paris than enjoying a formal meal inside the Iron Lady. If I had to sum it up, I would say just one word: exquisite!

Everything about the experience and this stylish and impressive restaurant will exceed your expectations, from the moment you walk in until the moment you leave. The food is excellent, the service impeccable and the view breathtaking.

Try the fabulous champagnes and the seven-course tasting menu, paired with some exceptional wines. Of course, every great restaurant prepares crabs, shrimps and foie gras differently, but at Le Jules Verne they are prepared with special care and delicacy.

What caught my attention the most was the mushroom risotto with seasonal truffle and shrimp ravioli, which turned out to be one of the best dishes I've ever eaten!

The five

Of. 31 Jorge V, 75008 Paris// +33149527154

The opulent Four Seasons Hotel George V is home to the elegant Le Cinq restaurant. Therefore, it is not surprising that the food at this restaurant is exceptional, earning it three Michelin stars! Furthermore, the dining room is often cited as one of the most impressive dining rooms in Paris.

For many people, spending a night at Le Cinq is a once-in-a-lifetime experience, making it the ideal place to mark an important occasion while traveling.

Due to the great demand for this restaurant by tourists from all over the world, I advise you to book well in advance.

Entering is an experience in itself! The elves, chandeliers, high ceilings and abundant amounts of gold that decorate the interior immediately transport you back to the Belle Époque. While the atmosphere feels a bit glitzy and old-fashioned, the food is quite modern.

Starting with the service, the food, the unique touches and the ambiance, we take care of every detail!

Enjoying the tasting menu is the most popular option because you can try everything. The food is exceptional and, dish after dish, you will see unique specialties full of surprises with unique flavors, colors and textures, beautifully presented in front of you.

Spaghetti with Truffled Ceps or Prosciutto are excellent and quite different from Italian pasta. An impressive fusion of tastes and flavors created by mushrooms and ham stuffed in a truffle sauce and surrounded by vertical spaghetti!

The 10 Best Michelin Star Restaurants in Paris, France (7)

So if you want an exceptional French dining experience, this place is the definition of fine dining in Paris and is one of the best restaurants for delicious food.

the white bird

Of. 19 Kléber, 75116 Paris// +33158126730

This elegant restaurant is situated at the top of the opulent Peninsula Hotel. While it may not have received as many Michelin stars as some of the other top picks, this is one of my favorites because of the incredible food and gorgeous views!

You'll have spectacular views of the Eiffel Tower, and if you're lucky enough to make an overnight reservation, you can see the twinkling tower from your table!

The decoration theme at L'Oiseau Blanc, which honors two pioneers of French aviation, is another of the restaurant's differentials. The restaurant even has a replica of the plane that the pilots flew in an attempt to complete the first non-stop transatlantic flight suspended from the ceiling.

(Video) TOP 10 Best Restaurants in Paris | Luxury Dining | 2022

You don't often see this kind of restaurant with this kind of personality, and I think that's a plus!

But I cannot fail to mention the exceptional cuisine that you can enjoy in this wonderful place! Their starters, including sea urchin with green asparagus, smoked egg yolk and burnt bread, are to die for, as are their delicious starters.

Try the shoulder of lamb with seaweed mushrooms, or start with the oysters and leek before moving on to the red snapper with citrus carrot sauce. The wine is also excellent and is served throughout the meal at opportune times!

The 10 Best Michelin Star Restaurants in Paris, France (8)

You can enjoy a dining experience like no other at L'Oiseau Blanc!

Ledoyen Pavilion

8 off. Dutuit, 75008 Paris// +33153051010

In mid-2014, chef Yannick Alléno took over the management of Pavillon Ledoyen. It's unbelievable that it took the head chef just six months to get the three stars he previously had while working at Le Meuirce! This restaurant is arguably among the best around today, thanks to so many accolades.

If you are looking for the ultimate dining experience, visit Pavillon Ledoyen. This excellent restaurant, located on the first floor of a neoclassical mansion, not only has three stars to its credit, it also ranks 25th in the top 50 restaurants in the world.

The 10 Best Michelin Star Restaurants in Paris, France (9)

Every aspect of the food is carefully considered here, resulting in dishes that look as good as they taste.

All dishes are excellent, although one of the Poulet de Bresse dishes is the protagonist! It was so well done that it paired wonderfully with the white truffles.

It's going to be hard to leave once you're done eating, but they make it easy with a delicious pastry called "miel beton" that's flavored with honey collected from the rooftops of Paris!

Pavillon Ledoyen offers a distinctive and creative dining experience at every level.

84 rue de Varenne, 75007 Paris// +33147050906

Arpège not only has three stars to its name, it is also a very original and inventive restaurant that has elevated vegetables to the position of main ingredient in all its dishes.

Those looking for the quintessential vegetarian dining experience, enjoy! However, because chef Alain Passard can make all kinds of ingredients as intriguing as you can imagine, this restaurant is appropriate for both meat and vegetable lovers!

The restaurant and chef have three different gardens where all the fresh produce, fruits and herbs used here are grown naturally.

The 10 Best Michelin Star Restaurants in Paris, France (10)

To ensure his diners receive only the finest and freshest vegetables available in France, chef Alain Passard goes the extra mile when it comes to sourcing his ingredients.

There are many menu options available to you! The Vegetable Tasting Menu, the Gardener's Lunch Menu and the Land and Sea Menu, also with meat and fish. Whichever option you choose, you will undoubtedly have a unique gastronomic experience!

The flavors that have developed here are some of our favourites, and dining here is a true culinary adventure!

7 Rue Tronchet, 75008 Paris// +33140671116

With just 20 dining spaces, this two-Michelin-starred 16th arrondissement restaurant is pretty exclusive.

The Michelin guide only assigns stars to restaurants that have been in operation for more than a year, but Akrame's experience shows that this is not by chance.

The atmosphere is what stands out here. A calm and elegant space full of class is what makes the fantastic food even more enjoyable!

(Video) 7 Best Restaurants In Paris France | Fine Dining In Paris

Chef and serial entrepreneur of Michelin-starred restaurant Akrame Benallal is known for his innovative, cutting-edge and creative cooking techniques.

He unleashes superb creativity with a unique menu carefully crafted to take advantage of top-notch ingredients. The chef's mother, who cooked frequently and abundantly, was his greatest inspiration.

Cod with trout caviar and pigeon were my two favorites at Akrame! They also serve several vegetarian options, which I liked.

The balance of vegetables, fish and meat was particularly intriguing because, unlike some fine dining, it didn't lean towards strong meat flavors in this environment.

The 10 Best Michelin Star Restaurants in Paris, France (11)

The food is made and presented with great care and is definitely a game changer! So if you're looking for a fusion of innovation and tradition, go to Akrame!
