Are you a big completionist who loves Stardew Valley? If so, you'll probably want to try to collect all the Farm and Forage items in the Vollections tab. Having trouble finding everything? We got you!

What are collections?

The collections tab records all items the farmer has found, taken, read, or sent. There are eight collection subtabs in total:

  1. Sent items (farm and fodder)
  2. Pez– a list of all the fish your fish farmer has caught.
  3. artifacts- a list of allartifactsyour farmer found it.
  4. minerals– a list of all the minerals your farmer has found.
  5. cuisine– a list of all the dishes your farmer has cooked.
  6. achievements– a list of all the achievements you have achieved.
  7. Letters– a list of all the letters your farmer has received in the mail.
  8. secret notes- a list of allsecret notesyour farmer found it.

Where are the collections?

You can find the collections tab by going to the game's menu and clicking on the icon that looks like a small golden bag. The first collections subtab is called Sent Items (Farm and Forage), so it's pretty hard to miss!

Why You Should Complete Collections

Completing these collections is quite the challenge for a veteran Stardew Valley player looking to achieve something. Additionally, you can earn various Steam achievements by completing collections:

  • full boarding– to complete the Farm and Forage collection.
  • master fisherman– for completing the Fish collection.
  • head gourmet– to complete the Kitchen collection.
  • a complete collection– for completing the Artifacts and Minerals collections and donating them all to the Museum.

The Foraging and Farming subtab

This collection subtab contains mostly crops and fodder, as well as some miscellaneous items. To complete the collection, it will be necessary to invest a lot in agriculture, both in raising animals and planting crops. Also, you will need to spend at least a couple of years to finish this collection. Some of the items are almost impossible to obtain in the first year, and others require access to special areas later in the game.

To complete the collection, purchase the listed items and place them in the shipping box next to your house. If you do not ship these items, they will not be considered picked up.

  • iridium ore– Found when mining Iridium Nodes in Skull Cavern.

Common questions

1. Any tips for finding these items?

A good tip is to take the tracker profession at level ten of the foraging skill. This profession allows you to see small arrows on your screen when you enter an area that prompts you to forage.

2. Why are clams on the list but not cockles or mussels?

Clams, rainbow shells and corals can be found on the beach, as well as cockles and mussels, but they are not considered fish. The last two are needed to complete the fish collection, but not the farm and fodder collection.

3. What is the best farm map to collect items?

You can complete this collection no matter which farm you choose: the default farm, the Riverland farm, or any other farm. However, you will have an easier time finding hardwood and mushrooms in Forest Farm.
